Fine Art Portraiture

I have chosen to do self portraits for my fine art, the reason that I have chosen to do self portraits is that I feel that this shows emotion, this meaning that I can express my self emotions/feelings more than asking another person to try and show my emotion for me as they can not feel what I am feeling, therefore it is not a true representation of the human condition of emotions whether these be happy, sad, moody, angry and sexy etc...

I have chosen to replicate the images of Patrick Demarchelier and his portraits of Robin Williams, as I feel that these are great examples of emotions.
